Larry Bell and his beers are wonderful. Out of Kalamazoo Michigan, Larry fought har for his brands to be represented fairly in the Chicago market, and after a shor hiatus, they're back and in full force! This week we're featuring Bells Pale: bitterness balanced with smooth malts, allowing the hop flavors to be bold, but not too aggressive.
Bell's Amber, their flagship ale, made from mostly pase malt, with some Munich and caramel malts, giving it a touch of sweetness, balanced by American hops.
These beers are unique and exceptional brews for the true beer afficionado.
Bell's Oberon Ale, their current seasonal brew: a wheat ale, mixing a spicy hop character with mildly fruity aromas. A classic summer beer!
